The Motley Fool - Podcast and web site (http://www.fool.com/) is a business broadcast once per week for approximately 40 minutes. I choose to subscribe to this Podcast because the source is reputable and the topics are very current events. The program details the how these current events impact the stock market; afterall, I teach my students that everything impacts the ecomony and this Podcast supports that fact.
What I like - the direct implications for the stock market. My Accounting class is currently buying and selling stock on a Virtual Stock Exchange and this Podcast could be a valuable investment tool. Topics are very current - Nuclear crisis in Japan, BP and the oil spill crisis.
What I don't like - I cannot play the entire program to my class. I don't think they would remain engaged for 40 minutes and listen. I need to listen and point out key details. It would be nice to have a short version that hits the high points.
